WordPress 6.5.4 Update

WordPress 6.5.4 Update

WordPress 6.5.4 was released by the WordPress core team on June 5, 2024. This is a minor release with five core bug fixes. The Outcome Labs team has verified this update to the platform. It is being deployed to all client sites that are on a WordPress Care Plan.

Please Find My Blocks

The Find My Blocks plugin has been a part of our Outcome Labs toolset since just after Eddy Sims released it in December 2019. The “Find My Blocks” plugin helps you identify where WordPress blocks have been used on your site. We were very happy to hear Morgan Hvidt picked up support for the plugin earlier this year. He recently released a major rewrite that we are very impressed with.

WordPress 6.5.3 was released by the WordPress core team on May 7. 2024. The Outcome Labs team has verified this update to the platform. It has been deployed to our sites and all client sites that are on a WordPress Care Plan.

Adding Drop Shadows to Blocks

Drop Shadow in WordPress 6.5

Drop shadow support has been added to the Block Editor UI in WordPress 6.5. This will make this capability available to a much wider group without requiring custom CSS or theme.json changes. This initial release of the Drop Shadow UI features is limited to the Image, Button, Column, and Columns blocks.
